CARRS Researchers at Pitt Sleep Research Day

On November 15, 2022, the Center for Sleep and Circadian Science held their annual research day on the Pitt Campus. Two CARRS Pilot Grantees presented ongoing research at the meeting. Delainey Wescott, a graduate student in Psychology, was a panelist in the morning session discussing "Melanopsin driven pupil responses in sleep and circadian rhythms." During the data blitz in the the afternoon, Bradley Wheeler presented on "A Framework to Empirically Determine Optimal Parameters for Use in Clinical Analyses of Temporal Sequences". His poster also won the graduate student prize for best poster! 

In addition to these presentations, Dr. Meredith Wallace, PI of Core C chaired the Data Blitz session. Amanda Tapia, who is a statistics postdoctoral student for CARRS also gave a presentation in the afternoon session. It was a fascinating day of sleep research!
